At Adventure Outfitters our guides are experts in the Royal Gorge section of the Arkansas River. The Gorge is one of the most difficult sections to master as a guide and we take up to 3 years of guiding experience in other sections and training in the Royal Gorge itself before guides are up to our very high standards. There are State of Colorado requirements to become a guide in the Gorge...and then there are our internal standards and quaifications which are much more stringent that those that are imposed by the State of Colorado or most other rafting companies. Therefore, when you choose Adventure Outfitters for a trip in the Royal Gorge, you can be certain that your guide will be the best trained and experienced of any company in the area. Our office is located one mile west of Canon City, Colorado right on Highway 50. We are 1 hour southwest of Colorado Springs, Colorado and roughly 2 hours from Denver, Colorado.
