At Adventure Outfitters we offer several options for your Royal Gorge White Water Adventure. Our office is only about 5 minutes from the take-out, which is where your trip ends. Adventure Outfitters has the shortest shuttles after your trip than any other company. Some shuttles are 45 minutes to an hour (or longer) after your Gorge trip! Our guests are in dry clothes and looking at the photos of the trip in a few short moments after hitting the take-out!

Half Day

Our half day trip is 10 miles, all the way through the Gorge, and provides for the shortest possible shuttles. Although the 12 PM is most popular, we recommend the morning trip. Mornings here are almost always awash in sunshine and there is usually much less “river traffic.” Our guides all covet the “morning Gorge” trip.
Full Day
Our full day trip starts a bit further upstream in a place known as Bighorn Canyon. In the morning, warm up your paddling skills in a milder section, but still enjoy several exciting rapids. This section is a great warm-up for the Royal Gorge. After that, we stop on the riverside for our delicious lunch, which is included. Then, it’s on through the turbulent and exciting Royal Gorge. Be prepared to focus and paddle hard in the Gorge!
Double Shot

We invented the “Double Shot” Royal Gorge trip. This original is comprised of the half day Gorge trip in the morning, back to the put-in for our delicious lunch, and then through the Gorge again in the afternoon. This trip offers the most “splash for your cash” possible. This option originated by request from some of our most loyal customers.
Something a Bit Milder?
